In 1966 the engineer Ralph Baer was asked to create the besttelevision in the world. He thought of creating an interactive TVgames, but the idea is not revenge. Years later, in 1971,Magnavox buys the project Baer of Sanders Associates, andbegins to develop the Odyssey, the first game to be connected to the TV.
Meanwhile, Nolan Bushnell, the daughter's room transforms into aworkshop and adjusting the game Spacewar, Steve Russell,created Computer Space, the first arcade in the world. Since mainframes were expensive and took too much space, Bushnellcreated the Computer Space, a machine just to play Spacewar.The experience goes right and he is able to sell the news. TheNutting Associates is interested and hires Bushnell, temporarily,to assemble the arcades of Computer Space. Bushnell laterleaves the company to found Atari.

1979
Lunar Lander, the first commercial game with vector graphics in the form of wireframes, that is, the objects were formed by lineslike the skeleton of a 3D model, is released. Thus is born the predecessor of polygonal graphics, used in most games today.
Another legendary game is the big release of the year: Asteroids.Despite having sold 80,000 copies and have turned a fever in the U.S., the game was very successful in other countries.
